JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties:

• Handle full set of I/E, L/C, and banking documentation and all related issues.
• Liaise with factories, suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies for shipment planning and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage and monitor the shipment schedules and arrange inspections (if any).
• Close communication with internal departments for shipment planning and arranging payment.
• Check the freight rate for prepaid shipments with various shipping companies.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to follow up on orders.
• Update and maintain accurate order status in the system.
• Prepare the full set of shipping documents in the SAP system.
• Handle customer inquiries.
• Assist in implementing and enhancing shipping practices and procedures to achieve a smooth work cycle.
• Perform L/C opening, checking, and approval with suppliers/vendors/banks.
• Management tasks and reporting to management.
• Support ad hoc assignments from management.

What we’re looking for

• Tertiary educated in Logistics, Business Management, or related discipline
• At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in logistics/shipping operations
• Experience in handling and well-versed with the full set of I/E, L/C, and banking documents
• Proficiency in PC Skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong sense of responsibility, can work independently and under pressure
• Detail-minded, highly self-motivated, committed, and a good team player
• Energetic, proactive with a positive mindset
• Well organized and multitasking
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
