JOB DESCRIPTION
Product Development Director – APAC
Responsibilities:
- Lead APAC core acquiring payments domain, managing a team and driving product operations, support, partner integration, and sales enablement.
- Define product strategy and roadmap, translating customer needs and market insights into innovative payment solutions.
- Manage full product lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, settlement, fraud, chargebacks, merchant billing, and alternative payment methods.
- Collaborate with country managers, agile teams, and the international product organization to deliver region-specific and globally aligned solutions.
- Drive commercial outcomes by partnering with sales and finance to create business cases, pricing strategies, and monitor product performance.
- Mentor and develop product team members, fostering innovation, best practices, and alignment across APAC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, payments, or fintech, covering the full product lifecycle.
- Extensive leadership and team management experience, with a proven ability to mentor and develop product teams.
- Familiar with acquiring business, with preferred experience in credit cards, banking, or mobile payments.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English.
