JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and technology development in the field of servo motion control；
• Execute research projects with on-time completion and high-quality results；
• Secure communication and networking with all related stakeholders；
• Build long-term collaborations with local academic society；
• Scan local science and technology progress in servo motion.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (must) or Ph.D. degree (strong advantage) in control of electric drives with hands-on experience in servo motion control；
• Solid theoretical background in servo motion control with publications in renowned transactions / journals；
• Understand and have experience on modeling and simulation of closed loop electro-mechanical system；
• Solid control theory knowledge, familiar with advanced motion control method such as adaptive control, predictive control, optimum control, and parameter identification of electro-mechanical servo system；
• Experience with state space approaches to analyzing controls problems as well as classical frequency domain methods；
• Solid servo motor control capabilities；
• Familiar with HW and SW architecture of servo drive product；
• General programming skills on DSP or FPGA. (C++ & VHDL)；
• Hands-on experience in laboratory work；
• Self-motivated, high curiosity and able to work under pressure；
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills；
• Good in both oral and written English and Chinese.
