IT Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement effective sales strategies for key enterprise product portfolios, including servers, storage systems, cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, enterprise software, and data centre technologies.
- Build, manage, and expand relationships with a network of channel partners as well as major end-user clients in the commercial and public sectors.
- Generate high-quality sales opportunities by collaborating with partners on joint marketing initiatives, technical workshops, proof-of-concept projects, and regular performance reviews.
- Partner closely with pre-sales engineers and marketing teams to develop integrated solution offerings and successfully close sophisticated, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strengthen alliances with vendor partners to ensure alignment on business targets, incentive programs, and joint go-to-market plans.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, comprehensive account plans, and timely management reporting while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue, margin, and profitability goals.
- Stay updated on evolving market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in enterprise IT to uncover new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in sales or account management, ideally within an IT distribution, systems integrator (SI), or vendor environment. Prior exposure to the local ICT distribution channel would be highly advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, software solutions, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or data centre technologies.
- Demonstrated success in channel-driven sales, business development, and consistently achieving sales targets.
