JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across the APAC region.
• Develop, implement and maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the APAC region, working closely with regional business leaders to develop realistic and achievable financiais targets.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making for senior stakeholders.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance activities across the APAC region, ensuring adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals across the APAC region, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional business leaders, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks across the APAC region, including currency risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
• Provide financial counsel and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Master’s Degree or above is highly preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/management role.
• Extensive hands-on experience in managing financial operations across multiple countries within the APAC region is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; able to work effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the APAC region.
