JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Develop IT strategies and budgets aligned with business goals; establish and maintain company-wide IT policies and procedures.
• Project Leadership: Lead major IT projects, including system migrations and deployment of new retail technologies for both in-store and back-office operations.
• System Management: Oversee daily operations of POS, inventory, and CRM systems; enhance system functionality and maintain retail-specific hardware/software.
• Infrastructure & Security: Manage networks, servers, and cloud platforms; implement upgrades to strengthen cybersecurity; conduct risk assessments, security testing, and data protection audits.
• Digital Transformation: Drive mobile/web app development, streamline shop operations, and lead digital transformation initiatives including website enhancements and documentation systems.
• Team & Operations: Lead and mentor the IT team; coordinate with vendors and service providers for cost efficiency; provide cross-departmental technical support.
• Reporting & Governance: Present IT risk and control reports to management; maintain disaster recovery plans; ensure compliance with audit recommendations and internal controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ IT application development experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in application architecture design and project management.
• Proactive, results-driven, able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a strong advantage
