JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of web-based applications on high-availability IT infrastructure, using Java EE (J2EE) across Linux or Windows platforms.
• Implement and deploy reporting solutions; candidates with strong Java skills but limited reporting experience will also be considered.
• Assist in system analysis, design, and technical specifications to meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in information systems design and development.
• Hands-on experience in Java and J2EE.
• At least 1 year of IT project experience in implementing reporting solutions (e.g., Crystal Reports) is preferred. Candidates with exceptional Java skills will also be considered.
• Solid understanding of deploying applications on Linux or Windows server platforms within high-availability infrastructure.
• Experience in government or public sector projects is a plus.
• Fluent Cantonese and working English.
