JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

• Better work-life balance compared to larger audit firms
• Work on Hong Kong local + US client cases
• Gain cross-border audit exposure without relocating

Duties:

• Assist in and lead statutory audit assignments for Hong Kong SMEs, manufacturing clients, and US-related entities
• Perform audit procedures, including substantive testing, analytical review, and inventory count (factory sites may apply)
• Prepare and review working papers and financial statements under HKFRS
• Handle consolidation, tax computation, and cash flow statements
• Plan and execute audit fieldwork, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation
• Communicate audit findings directly with clients (local factory owners and US counterparts)
• Supervise and coach junior team members on HK and US reporting differences
• Assist in ad-hoc US reporting or cross-border advisory projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline
• Relevant audit experience (less experienced candidates will be considered for Semi-Senior; more experienced candidates for Senior)
• Solid knowledge of HKFRS and the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance
• Manufacturing or SME audit experience preferred
• Able to communicate with US-based clients or headquarters (written English required)
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• CPA finalist or qualified preferred; passed one or two HKCPA modules, also welcome
• Strong supervisory and client-facing skills (for Senior level)
