JOB DESCRIPTION
Client Onboarding Officer
Responsibilities:
- Process account lifecycle including client onboarding, account maintenance, and regular review.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and checkings to comply with company KYC/AML policy.
- Accurately input and maintain client data in various internal system.
- Act as a checker to review maker working quality.
- Liaise with front-office sales and assistants to resolve documentation gaps and facilitate timely onboarding.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and guidance to junior officers to uphold team quality standards.
- Support internal/external audits, regulatory inspections, and thematic reviews related to client onboarding.
- Undertake ad hoc projects, reporting assigned by the team lead.
- Identify areas for process enhancement to streamline operations.
- Implement data cleaning to fulfil operation use.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Business, Finance, or related subjects
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in KYC, AML, or client onboarding within a regulated financial institution (bank, asset manager, broker-dealer, or fintech).
- Detail-oriented and show good quality on document checking and data input
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing
