Our client a General Insurance insurer is now looking for a high calibre for the following position:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Claims Manager / Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Department Head, and manage and supervise subordinates’ performance and approve their requisitions
  • Lead the team to do regular open claim and close claim review
  • Day to day handling and settlement of claims cases
  • Month-end reserve review of each claim cases
  • Manage vendors’ performance and review works done by them
  • Staff development and daily team administration
  • Support business unit to do business
  • Handling customer and intermediaries’ enquiries

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with professional qualifications in insurance
  • Min 10 years’ experience in General insurance claims particularly Property & Casualty lines
  • Strong technical knowledge in P&C insurance products
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
