Our client a General Insurance insurer is now looking for a high calibre for the following position:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Claims Manager / Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:
- Report to Department Head, and manage and supervise subordinates’ performance and approve their requisitions
- Lead the team to do regular open claim and close claim review
- Day to day handling and settlement of claims cases
- Month-end reserve review of each claim cases
- Manage vendors’ performance and review works done by them
- Staff development and daily team administration
- Support business unit to do business
- Handling customer and intermediaries’ enquiries
Requirements:
- Degree holder with professional qualifications in insurance
- Min 10 years’ experience in General insurance claims particularly Property & Casualty lines
- Strong technical knowledge in P&C insurance products
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
- Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
