JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Lead the project procurement team to secure successful new product introduction with external molded part and textile suppliers from concept freeze to Mass Production.
• Define, implement, manage the global Category strategy plan in close collaboration with Engineering and Quality team members in the strategy plan and present for approval to PEM leadership team
• Budget the global procurement team P&L, standard costing, PPV and productivity savings as well as the Capex/Opex for NPI projects and manage the cost within budget set
• Understand the requirements of the Toy Industry in which the suppliers have to operate

Requirement :

• Min 10 years’ relevant working experience in Mechanical and Molded Parts procurement: strategic sourcing/ project management; procurement/ supplier/ portfolio management experience; with high quality deliver in a multinational manufacturing environment
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferable in tooling, mold part design and flow simulations) is preferred
• Commercial certifications (sales/procurement certifications) and experience (sales/procurement function)
• Global experience (expatriation within China or outside China) having lead global teams
• Strong negotiation, communication, influencing and analytical skills with ability to develop & manage supplier and internal members relationships
• NPI project management skills applied in product development methodologies (achievement based, agility concepts) with direct relationship with third party partners
• Technical skills in molding and part design
• CPIM or CRIM: supply chain, resource management or procurement related certification
• Proficient in Mandarin and English speaking
