JOB DESCRIPTION

Operation Manager (Supplier, Supply Chain and NPI Management)

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain and manage the relationship with Contracted Manufacturers (CM) and suppliers to ensure that they meet production schedules and produce a product in accordance with customer requirements while maintaining maximum production and minimum costs
  • In charge of planning, coordinating and controlling of the whole production processes, including but not limit to management of the daily operation of production plant to ensure high quality and cost effective productivity
  • Analyze production cost variances and drives cost and lead time reduction to meet company objectives
  • Manage PR/PO as well as purchase forecast to suppliers inclusive of rescheduling to meet changes in demand
  • Establishes appropriate KPIs for on-time deliveries, order fulfillment accuracy, full-truck loading; manages these KPIs for minimum cost and maximum performance
  • Implementation of effective component and inventory management, with specific emphasis on adequate accounting of consumption and periodic inventory verifications
  • Participate in company-wide change / process improvement / enhancement committees, projects and initiatives to support and meet the company’s business objectives
  • Provide clients with detailed supply market condition, trends and analyses that may affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing and also with recommendation on supply solution.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. in Engineering
  • Min. 10 years of experience in EMS control and LEAN manufacturing in electronics products
  • Solid experience and skills in factory operation and supply chain and logistics management
  • Significant professional experience in the areas of Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Management, Product Development, Design and Securing the quality, logistic and cost
  • Excellent communication skills, strong leadership and problem solving ability
  • Familiar with electronic product manufacturing process
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data and present them in a simple and easily understood manner
  • Have an eye for details and know what it takes to build a solid organization with low volume high product mix, while ensuring the quality
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Pragmatic, healthily persistent and able to integrate different views in your decision making process
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills
  • Must be good at both English and Mandarin
