JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Claims Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate claims and obtain relevant facts to determine coverage, loss and liability
  • Approve accident and medical claims within the authority and to make suggestions to the superior on claims beyond the authority
  • Interact effectively with outside parties involved in claim process
  • Assist Supervisor in analysing, planning, decision-making and problem-solving activities to support claim settlement
  • Document claim file activities in accurate and timely manner
  • Resolve claim issues promptly and follow-up on outstanding issues

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Economics, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in life insurance claims experience required
  • Strong analytical mind with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is required
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
